Emergency preparedness doesn't stop at your front door. Insuring that your children have basic emergency needs met is just another fact of life for the modern family. While most schools take a great many precautions and run drills for fires, most schools don't have disaster and emergency supplies should the children be forced to shelter overnight. Though it is rare, actually there can be many reasons for a school to take such actions. In most cases the emergency supplies are not in the main school budget or must be fundraised for.
